We have been playing shuffleboard most days and bowling on Friday.
This Friday will be the last day of bowling,  AND I will not reveal my average.
Kent & I both say the low averages is due to the alley ball.  That's our story
and were sticking to it for now......We plan on bringing our own bowling
balls next year,  so hopefully scores will be better, cause we're out of excuses
           after that......
Last Wednesday night the Park had the Dennis Lee band come in to
put on a show for the park.   It was a free will donation, and the crowd was
pretty big.   They were really good, and Dennis was a funny comedian also.
There was only 1 girl in the band and she played the fiddle....She was very good.

We found our new driveway deterrents.......MAYBE these would keep people from
               driving around our driveway !!!

Guard Dogs

Not sure if I'll get this guy back to Indiana

Last weekend we tried to look for some garage sales....Not too much
luck, but we came upon a storage unit garage this instance
it was nothing but JUNK....Not a treasure to be had

Yesterday we went to try out a new restaurant......Maine Lobster is
on special on Tuesdays......1 3/4 lb. for $18.95
So I decided I wanted Lobster****
Good thing I have been to Maine and had the lobster there !!
OTHERWISE,  Chuckie the lobster would have died for nothing...
At least I knew how to crack the shell & get the meat out.

I wasn't thinking it would still be in the shell....duh!!
I gotter done, but it was messy,  just like in Maine.....

Today we had some friends that we have met here in the park, take us to Desoto Park.
That was a really neat park.  It's right by the water, and there is a trail you can walk.
The first thing you do is watch a video about Desoto, so when you go out & walk the
trail it makes sense what went on....We plan to go back  when Cheryl & Dave
get down here, if we can find it again.
                                                                  Walking the trail

I thought this picture was unique....I noticed a sailboat passing
at the end of the trees, making an interesting shot....

This is Dick & Donna whom we have met at the
park we are staying in...They are from Michigan.
They took us to Desoto Park today,  and we have
played games with them a few evenings...
They will be leaving the park, next Tuesday.....

Taken at Desoto Park March 23, 2016

The house to the right of our motorhome is the house Janice will be renting
for the month of January 2017.......pretty convenient.....It is really hard
to find rentals in here....I just happened to see the owner, and arrangements
                  were made.......

Ayden will not be 2 until May 28, but he has an older lady in his life.
I think this little chicky is 4.....I guess he was told to give his kisses,
so he reaches over and plants one on her!!!!   Funny little guy....
NORA  better get her dibs in before this gets too serious...LOL

And with that I'll sign off

                                           From our home in

We are entering our third month in Florida.   This year we have really enjoyed
ourselves & the time has really went fast.    I have cooked a certain amount but
we have found restaurants that we enjoyed, but also have a couple that it was only
               a one time event.
A favorite place of a lot of people around here is FUZZY'S.   We took Sheila
& Janice there.   Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday for $1.59.   And these Nachos can
                feed 4 easily.

It was time for Kent to get a haircut so we went back over to Mary's
and then after this was done we all went to Hungry Howies.
This one is very is a pizza buffet, with soups & salads also.
Seems like all we do is eat.....I do cook in occasionally but
we try to go early and get the better prices....Some have larger
portions, so we split the all works out
This is a bomber that flys in & out & around the area.
Kent says just think what it would have been like to have
the skys full of these planes & knowing they were full of bombs.
One day last week we got out to the beach early and stayed
for 4 1/2 hours.....we used the baskets to find shells farther
out in the water that had not made it on the beach yet....
also got a good amount of sun.......

This day was my birthday...we went to eat at
Anna Maria Oyster Bar.....We had fish and it
was delicious.....and a PLUS the service was
excellent, and we definitely will go back.....
Cheryl & Dave will be coming in on April 9
so this will be a stop on the agenda......
                                                                    Oh So GOOD !!
The Coleslaw was very good too... You could
                                                           taste pineapple in it...Delicious

On the way home we made a stop at the antique car museum
Oh if we would have only had a crystal ball back in the day
for present day that sold for $6,000 to $8,000
back in the 60's and are now bringing $40,000 on up....OH
if we would have only known......Somehow we would have
planned better for retirement.....(bought more cars and stored

Strawberries are very good this year

We hadn't thought about skyping,  thinking for sure we
couldn't because of the weak wifi......Kathy contacted
us wanting to try....we tried & we did...although we had
to use our hotspot which helped.
So then we did with Sheila & Darren......Ayden didn't
know what to think of seeing Grandma & Grandpa but
                                     couldn't touch us.
I wish I could share the video Sheila sent me for my
birthday....She prompted Ayden to say I love you &
Happy Birthday Grandma.....of course it's not perfectly
clear, but you could tell that that was what he was saying.
                                                                         SO CUTE  !!

Kent couldn't take it any longer...he has been wanting
to wash the motorhome, so finally he set to the task...
                                      Now I think he's all good.....I hope.....But this morning
he looks up at the front top of the motorhome and sees
dust all over it......burst his bubble !!!!  ALL THAT WORK !!

This is Kent's plane when he left today...I dropped
him at the airport and came back to the motorhome...
Then just waited till he took off so I could get
a picture of the plane.....
It's official::  I am alone,  by myself,  all by myself,  for
a few days,  or maybe just 1 day not sure.....Kent flew
home today, and just text me that he had landed....Janice
picked him up..... so after he takes care of some paperwork
he'll be back, or so he says,  we'll careful Babe....
This is his plane as it left at 2 this afternoon....Sheila sent him
through Detroit and into Ft. Wayne..No problems this time
                                 made it perfectly...

Look at that middle cloud...that's the plane up there
                                          amongst them....

Sheila sent me this....Ayden was out playing
in their yard.....Think he made a friend.....

Leaving you with a TRUE thought.....I

                                             Enjoy your Day
                                                     Kent & Martha

P.S.  Our temps this week are to be high 80's close to a 90 or 2

There is a LOT to write about in this post.    Seems there is always a Kodak moment
          with Ayden around.

We start out with Ayden, Sheila & Darren flying down January 11 & staying
                  a few days.

                                                                       They have arrived
Ayden at the airport

First day we went to the beach we dressed like this

Very next day you needed a jacket
Don't  be shocked**Grandma is in the picture

                                                                  Footprints in the sand
                                                                     Ayden 19 months
1-2-3-  Cheese

Ayden is too big for the kitchen sink
this year, so had to find another way
to take a bath.  This bathtub fits
right inside the shower, and he loves it.

                                                            Aydens first ice cream cone
                                                                     holding it himself

                                                                  He did really well

Even though it was chilly
we wanted to swing
                                                                        And Slide

I know I can do it

                                                                   Whee    no hands

They went back home and then 3 weeks
later Sheila & Ayden came to stay for 9 days
This is at the airport when they were going to
fly back down here.   When Sheila sent these pictures
it brought tears to my eyes.   This little boy looked so
grown up pulling his own suitcase !!!
And that bomber jacket !! He is ready to roll...
Hi Grandma & Grandpa,  we just landed

At first glance what do you think ?
Yeah I know it looks like snow but it's not.
It wasn't a very warm week when they were here,
so he wore his winter hat on the beach.  If it would
not have been so windy, it wouldn't have felt so cold,
so no water today.  He really loves to run and play in the water.
Hopefully spring break.
Grandpa & Ayden having their morning Joe together
One afternoon during nap we heard Ayden say
Not hearing anything more we assumed he went
back to sleep.   When Sheila went in to get him up
she found a whole new package of wipes pulled
out and all over the crib !!!
We did have 1 nice day that we went to the beach and
spent some time.  This is not a posed picture.  It happened
very quickly.  Kent got up from the chair to do something and
Ayden was close to the chair, as soon as Kent got up Ayden
literally plops in the chair for a short 30 seconds and I snapped
the pose.  Luckily I had my camera in my hand.
Taking a break

NOTE:  The bike is NOT moving
Sheila is just holding him on the bike.
Guess someone was concerned about Aydens feet
getting caught.  Didn't happen....Bike didn't move.
I got to go swimming in the pool....It was so fun
We went out to the park to try to see Alligators
Was hoping Grandpa wouldn't drop me
Look real close...this is the only PART of the alligator
we saw..he never moved for us.
Hi,   It's me Ayden with my Minion glasses
I got to do so many things at Grandma & Grandpas, I really had fun at
their new place this year.   Now I can't wait to go see them Spring Break.
I played so hard from morning to night,  I hardly slowed down.  Everybody
says I am just like my daddy.  VERY HIGH ENERGY.   I'm tired now I'll
see you another time.  Nite  Nite

                                                        Hope you enjoyed the pictures

                                                                     Keep Smiling
